What a remarkable, genius, complicated human being. Women are not allowed to be thus by society, and are demonized for things that in men are seen as remarkable, as traits to admire. The number of female geniuses who have been rejected and shunned by the world must be innumerable.

What a life, what a story. People can be brilliant in some ways and then be pretty dumb in other ways, but after all, she is only human, like the rest of us.

Love the final commentary Ms. Lamarr says: "let me read you something pretty": People are unreasonable illogical and self-centered. Love them anyway!
If you do good people will accuse you of selfish alterative motives. Do good anyway!

This was wonderful. It provides a brief synopsis of the engineering marvels of Ms. Lamarr and lenses it between her (forgotten) Austrian Jewish upbringing and contributions to the US War Effort.
