Narrated by Liam Neeson, LOVE THY NATURE points to how deeply we've lost touch with nature - and takes us on a spellbinding journey through the beauty and intimacy of our relationship with the natural world.

Neeson is the voice of "Sapiens" (our collective humankind) who, in the past few hundred years, has come to believe that we have transcended nature. Yet, experts uncover how a new era of nature-connection might be dawning: "Biomimicry" scientists look to the natural world for the most brilliant cutting-edge inventions, social ecologists unveil how nature restores communities, and doctors are finding new ways in which nature heals the body, mind, and brain.

The winner of 27 awards, LOVE THY NATURE soothes our urban angst with the dazzling spectacles of our world, showing that a renewed connection with nature is critical to our personal health and the health of our planet. And Sapiens' journey reveals how a relationship with nature ignites a sense of meaning and wonder so profound that it touches us at the very core of what it means to be human.

"Breathtaking... Enthralling! It will replenish your hope in mankind and Nature." - Avi Offer, Rotten Tomatoes film critic

"Love Thy Nature is an urgent but stunningly beautiful meditation on our connections to the natural world... everyone should see this profound, timely, and extraordinary film." -Joel Reynolds, Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC)

"Love Thy Nature will light up your neurons, change your breathing, and deeply connect you to those you're with. The story will stay with you for a long time, because it's yours." Wallace J Nichols, PhD ~ NY Times Bestselling Author

I am an educator, and this film could easily be the entire curriculum for an entire year or more in an interdisciplinary program. I would love to see every middle school in the world take up the calling. I hope to start with the one I work at.

A fine overview and reminder for viewers to re-frame our perspective about our natural limits, our strengths, weaknesses, our past failures and successes, and to seriously count the costs as we learn, ever more of the boundaries and limits to the delicate balance among humans and our ...Read more

In my old age, I have become religious. Spending as much time as I possibly can; in the mountains and along the streams. And as I witness the Divinity in nature; I discover the divinity within myself. This film captures wonderfully what is totally Divine in nature.

Many people ask me why I made this film, so here is the story. I was born in Rio and raised by parents who were nature-lovers. I was a lucky gal: the Rio beaches and the Atlantic forest were my backyard! I was tom-boyish, and the natural world fed my need for adventure, discovery, and wonder. ...Read more
